We’re inviting potters to join our pottery handbuilders co-op as creators. We’d love for you to be part of it. Working from the corner of your living room, the garage, or (as we started) storing pottery equipment in a guest shower, you know how space can inhibit creativity. Join our small group of community-minded potters through the limited Potterings co-op membership. You don’t need to be a pro potter, just have a desire to join a community-minded, supportive studio. We do have some options for experienced potters who would like to teach, though, so keep on reading.
01
STUDIO ACCESS
Potter Away!
The Potterings studio is stocked with tools, stamps, and studio glazes. It’s perfect for potters who want to explore the art of pottery without the mess at home.
02
KILN FIRINGS
Fire it Up!
Included in your membership are two kiln firings per month. The brand new Skutt kiln is designed for the small studio space. It’s perfect for hobby potters who are exploring the art of clay.
03
OVERSIZED STORAGE
Spread Out!
You’ll have a generous amount of space on the shelves. Your membership includes a large 30″ x 20″ shelf, a much larger storage space than usual to keep your pottery and tools.
04
ABILITY TO TEACH
Earn Some Income!
Teach your way, and earn some income. Potterings encourages potters to host open studio times, run workshops, and classes. You will be asked to bring in some items you’ve handmade or thrown before teaching. Approval is based on the collective approval of the co-op.
