Connect with other beginner potters in the atmosphere of a pottery studio. Immersive and hands-on, the studio series provides a peek into the world of studio work.
We potter at our studio in West Seattle located on Harbor Avenue, where we host small, affordable pottery workshops and classes along with drop-in studio sessions.

Learn the art of pottering in the comfort of your home. These workshops are designed for friends and family members who are seeking a fun and unique way to bring people together.
These in-home workshops are perfect for get togethers, wine nights, bridesmaid or wedding showers.
We can also accommodate small team building events at your office.

OPEN STUDIO
Wednesdays from 6-8p
Open Studio at Potterings is your time to explore, create, and experiment with clay at your own pace. Every Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM, the studio is open for beginning potters to practice techniques, refine their skills, or simply enjoy the meditative process of working with their hands. Our open studio provides a relaxed and inspiring environment where you can let your creativity fly.
One of the biggest benefits of our open studio is having an experienced instructor on hand to guide and support you. Included is clay, glazes, underglazes, englobes, tools and kiln firing.
Whether you’re perfecting your handbuilding skills, testing out a new glaze combination, or working on a personal project, Potterings’ open studio is your creative sanctuary—a space where you can relax, create, and enjoy the process of making pottery.
Recommended to pay in advance via Eventbrite to guarantee your spot. You can also pay via Venmo the day of the open studio.
Cost is $40 for the two-hour session. Open studio time is included in a monthly membership.

Make an Egg Carton
Friday, June 13 from 6-9PM $45
Join us for an evening of pottery as we craft a beautiful ceramic egg tray that holds a dozen eggs. Eggs are so expensive, so let’s make a egg carton to hold our treasures!
You’ll learn how to roll out clay slabs, cut and smooth the pieces, and bring them together to form your egg carton. To finish, you’ll glaze your piece in complementary colors, making it uniquely yours. The best part? Your egg carton will be food-safe, fridge-safe, and dishwasher-friendly!
Show up solo or bring a friend – all Pottering workshops are beginner-friendly.
