Give the gift of creativity. Order a custom gift certificate through email. Increments in $45 (open studio), $50 or $55 (workshop). The recipient will book their session. The gift certificate will be emailed to you as a PDF. Payment through Venmo or PayPal, with a quick 48-hour turnaround.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR YOUR VISIT
FIND US
Potterings is located at 3400 Harbor Ave SW, on the ground floor of the Activspace building.
Our studio entrance is around the east side (back) of the building. Look for our Potterings flag and white chairs. We’re in Unit 132, located on the lower right-hand side of the door.
PARKING
Street parking is preferred. There may also be a few spaces available in the parking lot.
MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE
Bring your favorite snacks and drinks! We have a small refrigerator available for you to use.
An apron is optional. Wear something you’re comfortable getting a little clay on. Clay is part of the fun!
PAYMENT
Already paid through Eventbrite? You’re all set!
If you haven’t paid yet, no worries. Payment can be made prior to the class through Venmo or PayPal.

1. MAKE IT
You made something with your own hands!
Before you leave, choose whether you’ll glaze it yourself or have us glaze it for you.
2. GLAZE IT
Glazing it yourself? Once your piece is bisque fired, we’ll email you to book a GLAZE Open Studio. You’ll have 21 days to schedule your session.
Having us glaze it? Choose your test tiles before you leave, and we’ll take care of the rest.
3. PICK IT UP
Once your piece has its final firing, we’ll email you that it’s ready. You’ll have 21 days to pick it up.
Need a little more time? Just let us know. We’re happy to work with you when we can.
Because studio space is limited, pieces not glazed or picked up within 21 days may be recycled.
Please note: Pickup is not available during Potterings members’ private bookings.
