What to Expect

To have fun: Each Pottering you will learn to make one to three pottery items that are achievable for beginner potters within a 3 hour timeframe.

Each participant will be lead through the instructions as we build the items out of clay. You will be provided with tools, clay, building boards, turntables, and glazes.

Picking up Your Finished Pieces

Ready in 3-4 weeks: You will pick up your finished pieces from in 3-4 weeks after the class. If you took a studio class, you will pick up the piece from the studio. At a local business, from that business. Private pottery parties we deliver the pieces to your home. We will kiln fire your pieces, then once finished we will email you the available pick up time. For studio or local business classes, you may request delivery of your pieces for an additional charge of $25.

The kiln queen can sometimes shatter a piece, it’s the way of the kiln! If something does happen, you are welcome to join us for another like class (same item). We will hold your pieces for 14 days, after 14 days we will need to dispose of your work due to space. You can arrange in advance for us to hold the piece longer, please talk to the pottery instructor for more information.

Refunds

Things happen: You can request a refund 15 days prior to your class. After 15 days there are no refunds but you can transfer your spot to another person. Please email us your name, class date, and class title, we’ll be happy to switcharoo for you.
