Get ready, West Seattle! On Saturday, June 14th, Potterings is participating in the global Game of Shrooms, hiding 15 unique, handcrafted pottery mushrooms for you to find and keep!

Your West Seattle Art Adventure Awaits

The Game of Shrooms is an annual international art-and-seek event where artists from around the world create mushroom-themed art and hide it in public spaces for anyone to discover and take home. It’s a day of community, creativity, and thrilling treasure hunting.

Potterings has been busy crafting a special collection of 15 one-of-a-kind pottery mushrooms, each lovingly made and ready to find new homes for 15 lucky West Seattle residents. Will you be one of the lucky finders? This is super family-friendly, and FREE!

How to Play & Find a Mushroom

1. Mark Your Calendar! The hunt begins on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Be ready to explore West Seattle!

2. Follow the Clues! We’ll be releasing hints and locations starting at 10am to guide your search. Keep this page handy and be sure to check our social media.

3. Explore West Seattle! Our 15 pottery mushrooms will be hidden in various iconic public spaces across our beautiful neighborhood. Happy exploring!

4. Find & Keep! If you find one of our pottery mushrooms, congratulations! It’s yours to take home and cherish.

5. Snap a Picture! Each mushroom will have the Potterings email QR code, snap a picture and send to us. Bonus – post the picture to your social media. Tag us @potteringclasses @gameofshroomsoffical #gameofshrooms #potteringshrooms

Please limit yourself to one mushroom per family to ensure more people can participate.
